Noah’s Arks wanted to share Roman’s story and tell everyone he is now ready for a home. You were first introduced to Roman by this Examiner back in March, a sweet, sad Bulldog found with a massive growth on his face. Slowly, but surely, the excellent care he received from the veterinarians at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Matthews, North Carolina, followed up by medical visits in Charleston, South Carolina with his Oncologist, including radiation treatments, have worked miracles, as you can tell by looking at his new photos.
This sweet Bulldog, who is between six and eight-years-old, was found when he wandered into someone’s yard. It took six months of teamwork, and he is now enjoying a great life. Sweet Roman has healed beautifully from his radiation treatments, and is the happiest boy on the planet, according to his caregivers at Noah’s Arks. He’s been neutered and is feeling better and better with each new day. With all his medical procedures behind him, he is ready to conquer many new adventures. Roman has so much spirit and a will to live, it’s infectious.
If you choose to adopt Roman, be assured that Noah’s Arks will help pay for the medications he’s currently taking through the completion of his cancer treatments. He’s still seen at CVRC in Charleston for his oncology checkups, so it would be best if he found a home in that area. He would love a yard, a place to run and a playmate. He’s dog-friendly, playful, very social, and loves every person he meets, large and small.
He knows commands like sit, down and paw, has been crate trained, and is ready to run with you. He’s got such a positive attitude now, he has no idea he is battling cancer.
